Reflecting on Session 2

Inspired and animated by Katie Mabbett (Deputy Store Director at Harrods) we looked at how the pandemic has impacted our businesses. I was struck by the ‘humanness’ of what Katie shared and the acknowledgement that alongside the need to be commercially agile it is their people who are at their core of every decision.

The discussion rooms once again raised key themes including Care, Connection, Wellbeing and Work Life Balance. The resources in the knowledge back will hopefully provide stimulus for you to think a little deeper and broader about these topics.

As with the seminars we are not looking to provide you with answers but interventions that may fuel your curiosity and allow you to ask questions that will shape your own and your business responses.

Sometimes the size of these Pandemics can seem disorientating and overwhelming so maybe revisit the story of the boy and the star fish to remind yourself that what you do matters and makes a difference. You can watch the story here.

So here are further resources as we dig deeper into understanding Racism in our own society.
