Biosecurity in the live plant supply chain

A new research project led by Forest Research will produce evidence for government to identify and prioritise biosecurity vulnerabilities in the live plant trade in Scotland. Many large multiples – supermarkets, DIY stores, lifestyle stores – are major players in the plant trade, often operating with different procurement systems to specialist plant retailers such as garden centres or nurseries.
