Response to DCMS: connected consumer products (IoT)

The BRC has submitted its response to DCMS on the Call for Views on connected consumer products (IoT).

The call for views asked for views on DCMS proposals to require retailers to limit the sale of consumer products connected to the internet to those which meet 3 security requirements with retailers required to conduct due diligence to ensure compliance of the products - and to provide information to consumers at point of sale.
