2020 outlook: more of the same
The UK-EU relationship is due to formally end, with no de facto changes on the ground until the beginning of 2021, while new trade agreements are being negotiated. This means prolonged economic uncertainty, with little chance of investment picking-up until some clarity about the new terms of trading is reached.
