The Role

We are looking for a talented economist to join our team, to shape and lead analysis underlying our policy work, to add to the depth and insight of our commentary and to help drive forward the development of our high-profile data monitors, which are regularly covered in national media.  You will be responsible for coaching team members and colleagues on economic theory, activity and policy as well as proposing and executing thought leadership pieces.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to articulate clear, compelling, and original analysis to a non-technical audience and have a proven ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.  You will have a strong understanding of the UK economic and commercial context, be familiar with publicly available socio-economic and retail industry specific datasets.  Ideally, with a degree in Economics or a related subject you will have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
