As part of BRC Climate Action Week 25-29 October, we’re hosting a series of events to showcase initiatives and good practice being undertaken by UK retailers on the journey towards Net Zero.
Each day we’ll profile and provide practical advice and guidance on one of the 5 key Pathways of the BRC Climate Action Roadmap – an ambitious industry-led initiative designed to get the whole of the UK Retail industry and its supply chains to Net Zero by 2040.
Solving for Sustainability through Data and Technology
Sustainability has been a rapidly increasing focus and business priority for the retail industry. Retailers are starting to increase their urgency in addressing net zero targets through emissions-reducing measures, which are essential to help mitigate the worst impacts of climate change.
Google Cloud has joined forces with the British Retail Consortium on the Climate Action Roadmap - to provide a framework of best practice and insights on how to collect, analyse and report on greenhouse gas emissions data.
Join Google Cloud during Climate Action Week, to discuss how data and technology can enable organisations to understand their emissions, develop effective sustainability strategies, predict consumer demand and embed sustainable practices.
