The BRC in association with Qlik hosted a webinar looking at how retailers, despite the challenges of the rapid shift online, can achieve significant growth in profitability from their stores by harnessing the power of visual analytics.
In this session, BRC Head of Data and Insights Analytics, Rachel Lund, did a presentation on how technology and policy changes are driving a fundamental shift in the role of the store. Participants also learnt from Qlik ─ whose software underpins the BRC-KPMG Retail Sales Monitor dashboard ─ on how visual analytics is providing insight into the best locations to open new stores and how, through harnessing mobile and IoT technology, retailers are able to respond to shopping behaviour inside the store to maximise performance.
