Over the past few decades, a lot of progress has been made towards more sustainable food production but meeting the UN Global Development Goals and reducing emissions remain a major climate challenge. A significant part of addressing this challenge is through the cold chain – the preservation of our food supply from farm to fork.

Together with technology company Emerson, this webinar will discuss the short- and long- term changes retailers can make in their cold supply chain in order to boost their competitive advantage in the transition to the low-carbon economy, and how to address climate change through the development of science-based targets. Speakers will include representatives of the BRC, Emerson and Waitrose.
