Nicki Hunt

Climate Action Roadmap Project Manager, BRC

Nicki Hunt is BRC’s Climate Action Roadmap Project Manager. She was previously Membership, Commercial, and Sustainability Director at the Food and Drink Federation, a trade association that represents the food and drink manufacturing sector.

Prior to that Nicki worked in a variety of senior communications and project roles across local and central government and the criminal justice sector including major change and externally and internally facing projects.

Dhaval Patel

Senior Consultant, ADAS

Dhaval joined ADAS in 2020 and has been managing the YEN project portfolio. Dhaval completed his PhD in Plant Sciences at the University of Nottingham and has since worked on post-doctoral projects studying the effect of light, temperature and root biology at the University of Leicester, University of Bristol and University of Warwick. Following academia, Dhaval joined Azotic Technologies as a Scientist and pursued an executive MBA from Nottingham Business School, post which he briefly worked as a Senior Project Manager for Earlham Institute. 

Dhaval is leading the effort to improve engagement and digitise the YEN project portfolio which he believes will help to democratise the data and provide wider benefits to the growers and their stakeholders. 


Sarah Kendall

Sarah Kendall

Crop Physiologist, ADAS

Sarah has worked at ADAS as a crop physiologist for ten years, after completing her PhD at the University of York. Sarah grew up on an arable farm in East Yorkshire and now lives on a mixed farm in Nottinghamshire.

Sarah has a keen interest in understanding factors affecting cereal and oilseed rape yields, and how this understanding can be used by growers to make improvements. She is keen to support growers in optimising their crop nutrition strategies through improved measurements.
