The British Retail Consortium (BRC) and ITN Productions have released ‘The Changing Face of Retail’, a news and current-affairs programme that explores how the retail industry is changing.

Fronted by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky as part of a unique partnership between the two organisations, ‘The Changing Face of Retail’ explores the impact of changes in the way people shop on businesses, staff and consumers.

Building on the BRC’s recent Retail 2020 reports, which suggest there could fewer but better jobs in the retail industry over the next decade, the programme brings to life how a digital revolution is helping to reshape the retail industry, driving increased productivity and different types of jobs and shopping experiences.

The Changing Face of Retail’ premiered on 16th May at the British Retail Consortium’s Retail 2020 event at Kings Place, London. It features interviews with an array of leading retail industry figures and news-style reports, along with sponsored editorial profiles of organisations helping to drive change within the industry.
