The Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information Regulations 2021 ensures that manufacturers minimise the costs and environmental impact of products.
In the Summer BEIS will implement a package of updated Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Regulations for a range of industrial and domestic energy-related products (including electric motors, dishwashers, televisions, washing machines, tumble driers and refrigeration). These requirements reflect those that the EU will adopt in 2021.
