BRC briefs backbenchers on the need for continued business rates relief

On Friday 16 October, the BRC will hold a virtual briefing for backbench MPs on business rates. The briefing will outline the BRC’s proposal for a continued business rates relief of 50% for the 2021/22 financial year, which would help retailers to trade their way out of the coronavirus pandemic and support the industry as it seeks to play a key role in the UK’s economic recovery.
