Face Coverings Mandated in Scottish Shops - SRC Secures Concession on Enforcement

Scotland’s First Minister has announced that from Friday 10 July face coverings will be compulsory for customers in shops, and physical distancing can be reduced in shops to 1 metre if mitigations are in place. Following SRC’s representations, shop staff will not be required to enforce the wearing of face coverings by customers.
