February Reputational Risk forum

On Wednesday 12th February, BRC held its quarterly Reputational Risk Register forum – a meeting where member press offices come together to discuss emerging reputational risks. We covered a wide range of topics – from modern slavery, sustainability and UK-EU trade negotiations, to gender and coronavirus. PR Directors, Managers and Officers joined from a variety of retailers – from Greggs and Selfridges to Dixons Carphone, ASOS and Co-op.

The risk register forum is a great opportunity for press offices to discuss emerging issues with other retailers, bounce ideas off one another and engage in crucial debate. The forum also gives members the opportunity to tweak BRC current messaging to ensure it best reflects the industry.
