The Government's modern slavery statement registry has been launched.

The registry brings together statements in one place making it easier for consumers, investors, NGOs and others to search for statements and scrutinise the action organisations are taking to identify and address modern slavery risks in their operations and supply chains.

Since launching, over 3000 statements have already been published on the registry, covering more than 9000 organisations. In future, it will be mandatory for
organisations in scope of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 to submit their statement to the registry. To get ready for this this mandatory requirement,
organisations are strongly encouraged to submit their most recently published
statement to the registry to demonstrate that they have produced a statement.

Submitting your statement to the registry is an opportunity to share the positive steps your organisation is taking and will send a strong signal to customers and
shareholders about the value that you place on transparency.

Please refer to the guidance below on how to submit your most statement to the
registry, including advice on security codes, submission deadlines and group
reporting.
