The BRC Payments Survey provides a vital underpinning and evidence base for our work to reduce cost, increase control and improve public policy and regulation on behalf of the entire retail industry.

This year the Survey is of major importance as the retail industry faces new opportunities to shift the dial in payments regulation through reviews taking place at both the UK and European-level – where UK regulation is still heavily shaped.

Log-in to access the questionnaire for this year’s BRC Payments Survey, with slight enhancements to the list of payment channels. Please share this with the appropriate individual within your organisation. Your payment service provider can assist in supplying the required information. Responses to the questionnaire should be returned to costofcollection@brc.org.uk by Wednesday 1^st July.

As always, the data you provide remains entirely confidential, is used solely for the purpose of the Payments Survey, and the results are presented as industry aggregates only.

As last year, the Survey has been combined with the self-certification form for the Bank of England Code of Conduct for the Authentication of Machine-dispensed banknotes. This is for retailers operating self-service checkouts only.
