Trade Credit Reinsurance Scheme Operational

Service provision for trade credit insurance should now be reinstated as the temporary Government-backed trade credit reinsurance scheme is now operational.

Retailers had complained that, in spite of the recent announcement of the Government-backed scheme, businesses were still being turned away by insurers.

The BRC have been working with the ABI and BEIS to ensure that the initiatives progressed on trade credit insurance do actually start delivering positive results for retailers as soon as possible.
