BRC give evidence to Non Domestic Rating (Multipliers and Private Schools) Bill

This week the BRC gave written and oral evidence to the Non Domestic Rating (Multipliers and Private Schools) Bill.

It sets out our support for the proposals in the Bill but asks that all shops be excluded from paying the higher multiplier.

It also sets out the need for clarity on key areas and the need to introduce indexation of the £500K threshold to ensure the benefit of the measures is not eroded over time.
