Protection for commercial lease forfeiture now in legislation

Last night (25 March) the Coronavirus Act got Royal Assent. The key measure in it from a property perspective is the three-month protection from forfeiture of commercial leases (clause 82). Whilst helpful, this is far from a sufficient response to the crisis facing retailers.
