May Growth Disappoints

UK GDP grew by 0.8% in May, significantly below the 1.5% expected growth and April’s growth of 2.0% (which now has been revised down from 2.3%). May marks the fourth consecutive month of growth, nevertheless, output is 3.1% smaller than in February 2020.
