Retail employment continues to fall. According to ONS figures released today, retail lost 37,000 jobs in Q4 2019 compared to Q4 2018, a 1.2% drop. In contrast, the number of jobs in the UK as a whole have increased by 1.5% in Q4 2019 compared to Q4 2108.
