This event is restricted to CEOs or their designated delegates of BRC's retail members.

This session will provide a focused briefing on the Employment Rights Act (ERA) and what it means for CEOs. The ERA introduces significant shifts in employment obligations, risk exposure, and workforce management — and senior leaders need to understand the practical consequences at a strategic level.

We’ll open with a high level assessment of the current employment landscape and the pressures shaping executive decision making.

Our Partners on the ERA, Bird & Bird will then outline the key changes through a CEO lens — including new liabilities, compliance expectations, and where businesses may face increased cost or scrutiny. We will also advise on the work of the BRC in this area and leave time for comment, discussion and questions.
