At January's call of the Corporate Affairs Community, we will be joined by staff from Chris Coghlan MP’s office (Lib Dem, Dorking and Horley) for a discussion on investment in high streets and communities for the first 20 minutes of the meeting.
Chris and his team are hoping to work with local authorities and businesses to open a retail hub in his constituency and are keen to hear from you on the challenges and opportunities around investing in high streets and communities. This is an opportunity to raise our asks on business rates, planning policy, crime and violence and of course, the impact of the Budget and new regulation on retail investment.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could come to the meeting with some talking points for the discussion.
Please contact tom.mccarthy@brc.org.uk if you'd like the invite.
If you’d like any briefing materials from us to support, please do let me know.
