  • Chris Owen

    Policy Adviser - Finance

    Chris manages the BRC’s Finance Community and has recently joined the organisation after working in public policy roles for a range of companies and organisations, including TikTok, Which? and Ofcom. He has extensive knowledge of current digital policy matters and online advertising regulations and has extensive experience in engaging with government and regulators, advocating for better consumer outcomes in markets and in shaping legislation.

  • Hamish Champion

    Principal Consultant - Corporate Insurance & Captives, Aon

    Hamish provides advice to clients on all aspects of risk finance, retention, captive optimisation and usage of corporate capital.

    Hamish began his insurance career with Brit Global Specialty with the underwriting of international treaty accounts. Hamish then joined J. B. Boda & Co. (UK) in London

    He has spent 5 years with Aon in Guernsey managing large corporate captives and risk transformation vehicles across a breadth of industries and specialisms, as well as developing an onboarding cell, captive and commercial insurance clients. He has sat on multiple underwriting and claims committees, providing strategic and underwriting leadership to clients in a broad range of industries, and has also represented the Guernsey International Insurance Association at risk management and captive conferences globally.

  • Charlotte Perez

    Growth Leader AGRC UK, Aon

    Charlotte joined Aon in 2021. She has been leading the Commercial Strategy and Growth for the AGRC UK practice since September 2025, and has been a Director in the Claims Preparation team leading the  quantification of major & complex claims across a range of different clients and industries across the world. 

    Charlotte’s engagements include pre and post-loss business interruption financial modelling, forensic investigations, cybercrime consulting and financial analysis risk assessments. Charlotte has 10+ years professional experience in Forensic Accounting, Audit, Finance and Risk. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and speaks Italian and basic Portuguese.

    Executive Director - EMEA Cyber Solutions, Aon

    Chris has over 10 years of experience helping companies understand, quantify, and manage their cyber exposure and led Aon’s Cyber Risk Consulting UK team for several years before taking on an EMEA wide leadership role as an Executive Director.  Chris is heavily involved in areas of thought leadership as well as helping our complex multinational client navigate the volatile landscape of cyber risk.
