In recognising the need to accelerate the decarbonisation of logistics to meet near and long term net zero targets of both government and retailers, we are convening a Net Zero Retail Logistics Think Tank for collective action in identifying barriers and driving progress.
Over a series of workshops, the objective will be to identify the enabling milestones, timeframes and policy for industry to meet government phase-out target dates, quantifying retail’s impact potential and mapping the industry transition plan to zero carbon transport.
This first workshop will bring together stakeholders from across the retail and transport industry with government to join the dots on current initiatives, identify gaps and proactively map the way forward.
Chaired by Justin Laney, General Manager – Fleet, John Lewis Partnerships (Climate Action Roadmap Logistics Pathway Lead).
