All Product Safety Community meetings are followed by a round-up of topics, regulations and notices for you to be made aware of. This is your way of learning about what is taking place within your community quickly in a quick overview.

EU Detergents Regulation
Defra will join joining to discuss the new EU Detergents Regulation. The session will provide an overview of the regulatory changes, policy context and likely timelines, alongside a discussion of the potential implications for retailers and suppliers placing detergent products on the EU market.

Inga Becker-Hansen
Policy Adviser - Retail Products
Inga manages the Product Safety Community and has recently joined the organisation having worked in the chemical industry. Inga has a Masters in chemistry and begun her career working in formulated materials and resin synthesis, and subsequently worked in biocidal regulation monitoring UK and EU regulation. She is engaged with key government departments, and is passionate about helping retailers and ensuring market product safety.
