The WRC is hosting a remote meeting with Luke Fletcher MS, at 10am on Thursday 5th June.
The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss the recently unveiled Making Wales Work: Plaid Cymru's New Economic Plan
The Plan includes the following recommendation, which would mean higher business rates for many members:
Plaid Cymru would develop preferential multipliers specifically for small businesses and the independent high street, while a comparatively higher multiplier rate will be levied on the premises of larger multinationals and out-of-town retail outlets to ensure a cost neutral impact on tax revenues.
Given Plaid Cymru’s current polling, which shows them leading amongst the Welsh electorate, this will be a vital opportunity to provide our input into future thinking, of what could be the next Welsh administration.
