Sarika Rana is the Head of Consumer Insights at YouGov UK, with over 20 years of experience across various industries and global markets. She and her team work with sectors like Retail, Supermarkets, Food & Beverages, and Travel, connecting various data sources to deliver insights that drive critical business decisions.
She is passionate about amplifying the consumer voice in marketing decisions and leads on designing & delivering tailored research programs to meet complex business goals. Before YouGov, Sarika led various teams in Nielsen, Ipsos, and Kantar. She began her career in India, moved to Egypt for a few years, and now lives in London. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her energetic 8-year-old.
James Pownall
Head of Customer Analytics, Marketing Services, Experian
James leads the Client Analytics teams at Experian Marketing Services. He has over 23 years of Analytics experience in Banking, Agriculture, Automotive and Utilities industries.
James’ recent industry roles have focused on how internal insight team can support internal decision-making processes to maximise the impact that analytics can have on the organisations performance. Whilst in the Banking sector, James built insight capabilities to support retailers to leverage banking data to support their investment decisions.
