The BRC and Sustainable Business Consortium are hosting a workshop to discuss member feedback on the DESNZ Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs) call for evidence.
About the call for evidence
The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) are seeking views from current and potential market participants on how the CPPA market is functioning and what practical steps are required to strengthen it.
Agenda
This workshop, jointly facilitated by Haydn Young (SBC) and Tracey Banks (BRC), will provide a forum to critically examine what the UK must do to improve its competitiveness.
Attendees should come prepared to actively debate CPPAs, particularly drawing on direct experience of procuring these agreements outside the UK in possible.
The feedback from the session will inform an industry response to the call for evidence.
