  • Costa Coffee - All wholly owned Costa Coffee stores will close for the day. Some stores operated by franchise partners may remain open such as those in hospitals. Costa Express self-serve machines will continue to operate in locations that remain open.

  • Currys - All UK stores will close for the day. Order & Collect will not be available either.

  • DFS – All UK operations including stores, deliveries, customer support and manufacturing will close for the day.

  • Dreams – All stores will close for the day. All deliveries will also be paused for the duration of the day.

  • KFC - Many restaurants will be closed until after the service. A small number of restaurants will remain open throughout the day, including a number in central London.

  • Lakeland - All stores will close for the day, as well as head office, distribution centre and customer services.

  • Lidl – All stores across the UK will close for the day.

  • Morrisons – All supermarkets will close for the day. From 17:00 on the day, petrol filling stations will reopen.

  • Ocado - There will be no deliveries for the duration of the day.

  • Pets at Home – All stores and Groom Room salons will close for the day. Vets will stay open.

  • Poundland – All stores across the UK will close for the day.

  • Primark – All stores across the UK will close for the day.

  • Sainsbury’s – All stores, delivery & collection services will close for the day. Convenience stores and petrol filling stations will be open from 17:00 - 22:00, and some stores in central London will remain open throughout the day to serve funeral attendees.

  • Space NK – All stores across the UK will close for the day.

  • Specsavers - All stores across the UK will close for the day.

  • Tesco - Large stores will close for the day. Express shops will open at 17:00, and some stores in central London and Windsor will remain open throughout the day to serve funeral attendees.

  • Waitrose - All stores will close, but some stores along the route of the procession will remain open (Gloucester Road, Kings Cross Station, Knightsbridge, Windsor, Victoria Street, Victoria Bressenden Place) - but these will close for the duration of the funeral.

  • WHSmith – All High Street stores will close for the day. Stores in travel locations will close for the duration of the funeral.
