On Tuesday 25th March we the launch of our Manifesto for Retail, laying out the retail industry's policy agenda for 2025 with Labour MPs.

The session, hosted by Pam Cox MP, was a chance to discuss high street regeneration, and the changes the retail needs to see from government to support growth in our industry. It was fantastic to see so many MPs and staffers at the session, underscoring the importance of the issue at a constituency level, and how it could play a significant part of re-election for many members of parliament.

The session included discussion on business rates, crime, planning policy and a range of other policy areas that can turn the needle for high streets across the country. There was an acceptance from everyone attending that tangible outcomes are needed for local communities, with a clear goal to look for workable changes going forward.

We would like to thank Pam for hosting the session and supporting productive dialogue between retailers and policymakers. We look forward to continuing our collaboration to deliver positive outcomes for high streets nationwide.
