Food Community Bulletin - July (1st Update 14.07.2023)

Hope everyone has had a great week. Another busy one for us and another meaty bulletin with updates!

We hope the bulletin helps with our key updates rather than lots of emails. It would be great to hear from your on any suggestions/improvements, or if you like the content as is :)

This week we've included updates on:

• Early Warning System (EWS) and Recurring Warning System (RWS) for May-June 2023 for imported food and feed, with a summary of the high priorities indicated.
• Updated technical document on listeria (15.3).
• Draft Codex guidelines and guidance from the FSA including on allergens and the latest lion code.
• Meeting minutes and slides from stakeholder meetings.
• Lots of updates from the nutrition and labelling side including SACN reports, nutrient profiling and sweeteners

We also updated members on the latest with the FSA food fraud working group and responding to the glycerol guidance with our member comments.
