Here is the 1st bulletin for September.
Lots of interesting updates on allergens this week, so we are looking forward to our next allergen working group on the 19th September.
We've also had meetings with updates on borders, following the update of the Target Operating Model (TOM).
Andrea has been busy in beverages again with responses on wine and fruit juices, also busy with work on fish names. This week I submitted our feedback to the FSA on their food fraud work and had useful discussions on Campy with some members.
Lastly the BRC has been successful in the recruitment of Defra's precision breeding working group and we have our first meeting in person next week on the 12th September. There have been publications, so once we've had a chance to find out more and also have a look the the proposals, the precision breeding summary for members will be updated.
