FSA Consumer Information - Defrosted Poultry

You will be aware we worked with Defra and the devolved Governments to get a derogation from the Poultrymeat Marketing Regulations to allow your suppliers to freeze turkey and other poultry early to avoid avian flu and sell it as fresh ahead of Christmas.
