Submission to EFRA Inquiry on Food Security

The House of Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee (EFRA) launched an inquiry this year to hear views on food security and how Government policy will and could influence it. Here is our response which, drawing on member input, covers our concern over rising prices due to disruption in the supply chain, how government could strengthen resilience through support and a targeted migration policy and our view what difference points made in the recent Food Strategy could make.
