Micro & Emerging Risks Working Groups - August 2025
Micro WG: Lots of great listeria updates from Karin from the Chilled Food Association/Industry Listeria Group. We also briefed on work from the Fresh Produce Consortium and a BRC roundtable for further input. We also shared feedback we sent to the FSA on Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS).
Emerging Risks WG: Great member discussions on olive oil testing and the acrylamide data call. Also useful updates from FSA colleagues on Food Contact Materials (FCM's,) PFAS, signals/horizon scanning.
