The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has launched resources to help prepare businesses for changes to flexible working laws. From 6 April, employees will have the legal right to make a statutory flexible working request from their first day of employment to ask for changes to when, where and how long they work. Employers will need to manage such requests reasonably and they might need to change how they manage flexible working requests in their business.
To support employers to implement these changes, DBT has launched a number of resources:

- A toolkit to help you circulate the support within your organisation – this can be used until changes come into effect on 6 April
