Retailers are invited to engage in the Big Help Out (BHO), which begins this Friday 7th June running through to August 31st.
The Big Help Out is a nationwide campaign (launched as part of The Coronation) that each year helps millions of people volunteer via a website and app populated by tens of thousands of charities.
The campaign continues to be supported by HM The King, who declared ‘business is a vital part of the fabric of both our local communities and of our wider society’ and by high profile individuals like Deborah Meaden, Gary Lineker, Bear Grylls and Tim Peake.
The Big Help Out is organised by the /Together Initiative in partnership with the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, and Shaping the Future with Volunteering, a coalition of 30 leading charities chaired by The Scouts and the Royal Voluntary Service.
Some 2000 businesses are expected to take part, including BRC members, offering up to half a million employees the opportunity to get involved. Click here to download a business pack with more information on how to get involved.
