Leadership Education at B&Q: Multi-Faith Room Guide
Designed by B&Q’s ‘Embrace Cultural Diversity’ colleague network, this multi-faith room guide helps stores to create safe spaces for colleagues of all faiths to worship at work. B&Q’s store development team also use this guide to ensure that any new stores or big company events have suitable and accessible spaces for colleagues to use, regardless of the faith they follow.

Alignment with the BRC D&I Charter’s Pledges
The BRC Diversity & Inclusion Charter emphasizes creating inclusive workplaces, supporting underrepresented groups, and fostering a culture of equality. B&Q’s Multi-Faith Room Guide aligns with Pledge 5 of the BRC Diversity and Inclusion Charter, where businesses are ‘committed to creating a respectful, inclusive work environment within which every employee has the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the company’s vision and values’.
