New ecodesign requirements for lighting products : Consultation response

Whilst our members support the intention of the proposed Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS), we are concerned that the speed at which the proposals are being implemented – and their far-reaching scope, which would affect many products currently available in the UK. This is likely to lead to a scenario where many lighting products have to be removed from the UK market.
