Nitrous oxide: legitimate uses and appropriate controls - consultation response

We are not opposed to some form of licensing scheme we think the main problem is this: we have laws in place, there is not enough resource to enforce the laws, the issue escalates, therefore the Government proposes introducing further laws (for which there will not be enough resource in place to enforce).

In a lot of areas we feel that better outcomes would be obtained if there was adequate enforcement of existing laws rather than a rush to create further laws (with which responsible retailers will take on cost as they endeavour to comply, when they were not the problem in the first place).

 

However, I do believe that some of our members will sell Nitrous Oxide, so please do keep us involved in this consultation.
