Government consults on proposal to ban wet wipes containing plastic

The UK Government and Devolved Administrations launched a consultation to ban wet wipes containing plastic.

They are seeking views on a proposed ban on the manufacture, supply and sale of wet wipes containing plastic. The proposed ban, subject to consultation outcomes, would be applied by individual countries in the UK and be implemented via their own legislative mechanisms (dedicated Regulations/Statutory Instrument).

The consultation is open until 25 November 2023 - and you can find below the consultation document and an economic annex.
