On Wednesday 3 December 2025, we're joining our resident employment and D&I law experts RPC at their offices at Tower Bridge House for a morning of insightful D&I content. This roundtable event is designed to immerse retail businesses not currently involved in our D&I Charter into key considerations and best practices around diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
 
Starting at 8.30 AM, the event will feature sessions on:

  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Retention, promotion and opportunity
  • What's on the horizon for D&I?
  • Flexible working and family-friendly measures
  • Preventing sexual harassment and ban on NDAs

Meet the Speakers

  • Luiza Paludo Gomes

    Policy Lead - HR and D&I | BRC

    Luiza manages the HR community. She has over 6 years of experience working in other trade bodies. Prior to the BRC, she worked at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and UKHospitality, leading on labour and skills shortages, immigration and food and safety policies. Luiza is an overseas qualified lawyer and worked as a civil litigator in Brazil before relocating to the UK.

  • Kelly Thomson

    Partner, ESG Strategy Lead | RPC

    Kelly sits on the Executive Board providing strategic direction to the firm. She also leads our ESG offering and works with employers across a wide range of sectors from retail and consumer to tech, media, and insurance. A specialist in employment law and practice, her work frequently focuses on the people aspects of complex reorganisations and restructurings. This includes advising on board-level people issues, employee and trade union engagement, and providing strategic DEI advice. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and Women in ESG.
