Meet the Speakers

Dominic Watkins
Partner, Head of Consumer Sector, DWF
Dominic is a Partner and Global Head of Consumer Sector at DWF. He is a specialist consumer product regulatory lawyer supporting clients with launching and commercialising products in the UK and globally. He has considerable experience advising online marketplaces, both traditional and those emerging through online video platforms, and understanding the distinct issues posed by online selling in the UK, EU and beyond. This includes the overlapping areas of digital regulation, sustainability and product safety and compliance.
His practice is a mix of compliance and contentious work where he deals with the regulators when things go wrong – whether that is defending notices, prosecutions received or dealing with recalls. He also leads DWF's consumer sector practice globally and is responsible for the coordination and growth of DWF services. Dominic attends the OPSS Business Reference Panel and is on the LexisNexis Corporate Crime Editorial Panel.
