The financial implications of last October’s Budget are looming large. The decade ahead will see evolving business models and a further drive for efficiency, while retail leaders will be faced with the dual challenge of of both short-term disruption and longer-term transformation.

In short - this CEO Exchange Forum couldn't be more timely.

The objective is to provide member CEOs with a thought-provoking workshop featuring actionable takeaways, the opportunity to exchange experiences and challenges with peers in a safe, collaborative space, and the chance to hear from an inspiring speaker.

The Forum will be facilitated by Matt Clark and his team from AlixPartners.  They have partnered with retail businesses large and small to support leaders with navigating the impacts of short-term disruption, through to full-scale business transformation. Collectively, we'll consider:

  • The long-term implications for the workforce of continued disruption
  • The need for more data-led, analytical decision-making, reinforced with resilience and agility.
  • The changing nature of work, and its implications on colleagues
  • The drive for efficiency
  • The need for strong leadership.

In the early evening, following the Forum, there will be a keynote address as part of our evening lecture and the chance to share a drink with your peers. We're delighted that our address will be delivered by Judith McKenna, former President and CEO, Walmart International.

This event is restricted to CEOs or their designated delegates of BRC's retail members.
