Corporate Affairs Community Meeting | July 2026

July's meeting of the Corporate Affairs Community takes places virtually (Microsoft Teams) on Thursday 23 July, from 11.00 - 12.00.

These meetings provide a forum to discuss the BRC's campaigning activity and this month, we'll be covering the following agenda:

1. The latest on the first few days of the Burnham government and what it means for retail
2. Engagement plan with relevant government departments and their new Secretaries of State and Ministers
3. Update on our Budget submission and campaign
4. BRC Buy into Retail jobs campaign – recent engagement with government and next steps/dates for your diary
5. Party Conference plans
