From Data to Decarbonisation: Leveraging supplier data to advance scope 3 performance

This event is exclusive to BRC Retail Members

As retailers face increasing pressure to measure, report and reduce Scope 3 emissions, the accessibility and quality of supplier data has become a critical challenge.

This interactive workshop, delivered in partnership with BearingPoint, will bring together sustainability, ESG and data professionals to explore how businesses can:

  • Strengthen data collection processes
  • Bolster supplier engagement
  • Move beyond the compliance and reporting baseline to examine how supplier data can support better business decision-making and decarbonisation outcomes

Through expert insights, peer discussion, and interactive workshops, attendees will gain a practical understanding of the minimum supplier data requirements needed today, technology-enabled strategies for improving data quality and supplier engagement, and examples of how leading organisations are transforming data inputs into actionable decarbonisation insights.

The day will conclude with a collaborative discussion on emerging themes, shared challenges and priority actions for both individual businesses and the wider retail sector.
