Retail Heat Decarbonisation: Energy Efficiency, EPCs and the Case for Government Support

This event is exclusive to BRC Retail Members and by invitation only.

Join the BRC and Mitsubishi Electric for a retailer roundtable focused on the current state of heat decarbonisation in the sector, with particular attention to energy efficiency, EPC requirements and rising energy costs.

The discussion will explore the barriers retailers face in improving their stores and estates, and the policy support needed to make progress more achievable. Attendees will be invited to share their views on what government could and should be doing to support retail decarbonisation and energy efficiency improvements, helping to shape a clear and practical set of sector priorities.

The session is designed to gather evidence, test policy thinking and strengthen the collective industry case for action on retail heat decarbonisation.
