Ensure You Receive All BRC Emails

To make sure you continue receiving important updates from the British Retail Consortium — including community news, event information, policy insights, and membership communications — please whitelist our approved email senders.

Why you may see emails from two senders

We are currently upgrading our email systems to improve deliverability and the quality of our communications.

During a short transition period, you may receive emails from both our existing email platform and our new provider, DotDigital, as we gradually build domain authority on the new system.

This is expected and temporary. To avoid missing anything important, please add both sets of sending details to your safe senders list.

1. Approved BRC Email Domains

Please whitelist the following domains:

  • @brc.org.uk
  • email@info.brc.org.uk - NEW

You may also see emails from subdomains such as:

  • @events.brc.org.uk
  • @learning.brc.org.uk

2. Approved IP Addresses (for IT teams)

Our new provider, Dotdigital, uses a set of IP addresses for sending.
Your IT team can find the full list here:

https://support.dotdigital.com/en/articles/8199451-ip-addresses-used-by-dotdigital

We recommend adding all Dotdigital IPs to your organisation’s allow list to ensure maximum deliverability.

Our previous platform continues to use its existing send infrastructure, so both sets of IPs must be allowed during the transition period.

3. What You Need to Do

For Members / Individual Users

To avoid BRC messages landing in spam or promotions folders:

  • Mark any BRC email as “Not spam”
  • Add our addresses to your contacts or safe senders
  • Move any misplaced emails back to your main inbox to help train your filtering

For IT Teams

Please whitelist:

  • All email domains listed above
  • All IP addresses listed in DotDigital’s official documentation
  • Any legacy IPs currently in use until notified of the cutover completion

This ensures uninterrupted delivery of BRC communications throughout the migration.

4. How Long Will the Transition Last?

We expect this to be a short temporary period while domain reputation builds on our new sending domain.
Once complete, all BRC emails will come from a single platform, and we will update this page accordingly.
