Luq is responsible for the IBM industry strategy, industry business development, industry offerings, solutions and platforms, alliance partnerships, thought leadership, senior talent and client service globally.

His experience includes industry platforms and transformation, new operating model design and implementation, business process re-engineering, organization design and change management, programme and project management and the full spectrum of enabling technology services from advisory, consulting, systems integration and delivery through to application management and outsourcing.

Luq’s current focus is helping clients achieve improved business performance and agility through Digital transformation and realizing the longer term goals of the sustainable enterprise and value chains.

Luq is a member of the IBM Global Management Board for Industries and a member of the IBM Acceleration Team; a group of the top 350 Executives in the company responsible for the transformation, performance and culture of the IBM company.

In addition to his business role, Luq sponsored the IBM Europe Executive Development program with SAID Business School, Oxford University progressing 30 Executives each year through this company specific Masters program; an initiative he has been involved with since its inception in 2008 through to 2019.

With a strong track record of delivering complex programmes, including leading the MCA (Management Consultancy Association) Project of the Year in 2018, Tom's projects have a Procurement and Supply Chain focus, delivering both tangible cost savings and lasting operational performance improvement.

More recently these have harnessed the power of AI, analytics, automation and blockchain for cognitive transformation. He has a deep interest in sustainable supply chains and has worked with many leading brands to develop their sustainable supply chain strategies and associated technology. As a Fellow of CIPS, Tom is passionate about the evolution of the Procurement function and building future skills in procurement.


Andrew Opie

Andrew heads up the team focusing on the production, labelling and sale of food alongside the responsible sourcing and production of all retail products. Covering a complex legislative agenda, he and his team work closely with key officials in all UK Governments and Brussels. They are also working closely with key NGOs and partners in the supply chain to improve the way products are made and sold.

Andrew has vast experience in food production from his time with the NFU and before that as Chartered Surveyor managing a dairy estate.
